Full Day Elephant Experience With Elephant Freedom Village

We support Elephant freedom village, because they are a community of indigenous Karen Hilltribe people, who have generational elephants in their community. By supporting them we support keeping their elephants home.
Their elephants spend 90% of their time in the forest and 10% of their time (at night) in a sheltered paddock. When our elephants are in the paddock overnight they are given fresh piles of food to graze from; enough to sustain them until the morning hours. When our elephants are in the forest, they are given both the opportunity to graze and fresh piles of food to pick at.
Elephant Freedom Village was created in an effort to undo some of the damage humans have done to elephants over time, and to return them to the forest where they belong. They are also work closely with their community and practice a sustainable community based tourism mode.

Itinerary:
Morning:
- 8:00am Pick up from Hotel
- 10:00am Arrive at Elephant Freedom Village
- 10:AM am Introduction and Presentation
- 10:30am Elephant Interaction + making medicine balls
- 12:30pm Lunch at Camp.
- 2:00pm Elephant Interaction (take elephants to river) + Health check.
- 3:00pm Optional Activities (see list below)
- 4:30pm Snacks + Wrap up + Karen coffee
- 5:00pm Leave EFV
- 6:30pm Arrive in Chiang Mai

Join us for eco treks and nature tours in northern Thailand. We’ll pick you up from your hotel or residence in Chiang Mai and take you on an adventure in the great outdoors.
